Stephanie Black-Schaffer is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School English Teacher at Lesley Ellis School since July 2024. Previously, Stephanie worked at Dwight-Englewood School from September 2015 to August 2024, where roles included Advisor & 8th Grade Advisory Point-Person, 8th Grade English Teacher, and 8th Grade Team Leader. Stephanie has also contributed as an Open Roads Advisor, Girls Affinity Group Advisor, Gay-Straight Alliance Advisor, Cross-country Coach, and Summer Connections Instructor. Earlier experiences include teaching assistance at Mills College, summer camp direction at Julia Morgan School for Girls, and tutoring for Compass Education Group. Educational credentials include a Master's in English Literature from Mills College and dual Bachelor's degrees in English Literature and Education from Swarthmore College.
