Amy Johnson

Amy Johnson, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Amy is currently the Director of Business Operations at Lessing-Flynn, where they oversee office management, event planning, budgeting, and project management. Prior to that, they served as the Office Manager at Performance Group, where they managed back-office operations and supported the company's president as an executive assistant. Amy also has experience as a Partner at Monarch Consulting, LLP, where they provided marketing and management solutions to small businesses and associations. Additionally, they have worked in various roles at the Iowa Department of Economic Development, Iowa Department of Administrative Services, Wells Fargo Financial, and Principal Financial Group. Amy has a proven track record of organizational skills, project management expertise, and HR knowledge, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Amy Johnson, SHRM-CP, has a strong educational background in both public policy and business administration. Amy obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Drake University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Amy further pursued their education at Drake University, earning a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Public Policy, completing their studies from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Amy recently obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in February 2023.
