Garrett Fischbach

Garrett Fischbach has had a long and varied career in the performing arts. Garrett began their career in 1995 as a Musician for the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In 1996, they joined the San Francisco Symphony as a Musician. Two years later, in 1998, they became a MET Orchestra Musician at the Metropolitan Opera. In 2008, they took on the role of Assistant Professor at The New School. Most recently in 2020, they have been working as a Special Projects Manager and Violin Teacher at Lessonface.

Garrett Fischbach received a Bachelor of Music, Magna Cum Laude, in Violin Performance and Pedagogy from Boston University in 1993. Garrett then went on to receive a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University in 1994.
