Sandon Chevlin

Sandon Chevlin is an experienced band director currently instructing approximately 150 students at Lake Worth Community Middle School since August 2022, and has successfully partnered with the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches for funding initiatives. Prior to this role, Sandon served as the band director at Creative Arts Academy of St. Lucie, where approximately 40 students participated in the band program and Sandon became the first director in the school's history to take the band to a Music Performance Assessment. Previous positions include band director in the Wake County Public School System, lessons instructor at Sam Ash Music Stores and Guitar Center, music lessons teacher at Winter Park Music Academy, ESL teacher with VIPKid, and music therapy musician at Mind&Melody, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching (Music) from Rollins College and a Master of Music in Music Composition from Florida Atlantic University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rollins College.
