Angela Santamaria

Angela Santamaria is an experienced educator and resource specialist currently serving as an English Resource Teacher at Lester B. Pearson School Board since August 2020, focusing on academic and social-emotional interventions. Angela employs the RTI 3-tier model to assess student needs, implement targeted interventions, and monitor progress. With extensive experience as a literacy specialist and roles in various teaching capacities, including French Immersion and private tutoring, Angela has contributed to curriculum development and maintained standards for students with special needs. Previous leadership roles include Assistant General Manager at Valleycrest Aquatic Association, where Angela established policies and protocols, and Aquatics Manager, overseeing swim team operations and coaching. Angela holds a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from McGill University.
