Chelsey De Groot, MAL, is an experienced leader in community support and education with a focus on Indigenous populations and youth services. Currently serving as the Manager of the Drug Treatment Court at McMan since November 2020 and as a Casual Instructor at Lethbridge College since September 2018, Chelsey has developed and implemented culturally relevant programs to support vulnerable communities. Notably, Chelsey founded the I'taamohkanoohsin Program while at ARCHES, aimed at assisting homeless individuals in connecting with their culture. Previous roles include Family Preservation Worker, Youth Counselor, and Youth Support Worker, all emphasizing the development of life skills and cultural identity among youth involved in the child welfare system. Chelsey holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University and multiple diplomas and a degree from Lethbridge Polytechnic.
