Serhii Shatov

Serhii Shatov has over four years of work experience in the field of data engineering, machine learning engineering, and research. In 2020, they began working as a Data Engineer for Let's Enhance. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer for Quartesian, where they developed a model to remove background from images and a financial data webserver. During 2019, they also served as the Founder of a Smart Home Startup, where they designed a smart home device, a PCB with a bluetooth module, and a Flutter app. In 2018, they were a Data Engineer for iZoom, where they developed a large-scale IP cameras monitoring system. Additionally, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer for Simporter, where they used Twitter API to crawl and collect all entity mentions, used sentiment analysis models, and developed a model to score products. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Machine Learning Engineer for ARVI Lab, where they developed a system to recognize Internet web pages, used and managed an in-house GPU cloud based on OpenStack, and helped to organize a machine learning weekend course. In 2016, they were a Junior Data Scientist for Kray Technologies, where they helped to develop a UAV navigation system and wrote a suite to make the onboard computer automatically setup GSM connection. Finally, they worked as a Research Assistant for The Institute of Mathematical Machines and Systems Problems, where they developed a module for vehicle detection and classification in aerial images using machine learning and conducted patent searches.

Serhii Shatov attended the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'\u200b from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
