Tamiz Ahmed is a Co-Founder of Poppylist and Board Member at Mend. Previously, Tamiz was the Chief Technology Officer and Board Member at Mend for 6 years where they led the product and engineering team to develop the award-winning iOS app that helps users navigate breakups and burnout. Tamiz also served users in over 195 countries who have completed over 2 million training activities. Tamiz was awarded a “Best of 2018” app by Apple’s App Store for Mend on iOS. Prior to Mend, Tamiz was the Founder and CEO of Nani Food, a food delivery startup focused on bringing authentic home cooked dishes to the San Francisco market. Tamiz designed and wrote all front end and back end code powering Ruby on Rails app for the business. Tamiz achieved strong early returns with 40% MoM sales and customer growth, and 5-star rating on Yelp. Before Nani Food, Tamiz was a Senior Product Manager, Consumer & Mobile at Bleacher Report where they oversaw and managed product roadmap for all consumer and mobile projects (reported directly to VP of Product). Tamiz was also the Lead PM for 5-star rated B/R app on iOS, Android and the #2 sports destination on the web (source: comScore). In addition, they led the creation of custom branded experiences on desktop and mobile app (primary revenue source for company). Prior to Bleacher Report, Tamiz was a Global Product Lead at Google for 4 years.
