Kirby Peters

Kirby Peters has a diverse background in horticulture and agricultural operations, with current experience in Horticulture Operations at Lettuce Grow since August 2018. Previously held the position of Greenhouse Manager at Johnson's Backyard Garden from June 2017 to August 2018 and worked as a Research Assistant at Cornell Sustainable Cropping Systems Lab from May 2015 to 2016. Early career experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant at Buckler Lab for Maize Genetics and Diversity at Cornell University and coordinating the Organic Garden and Local Food Initiative at Saint Michael's College. Kirby's hands-on agricultural experience began as a Field Worker and Cashier at Maple Bank Farm from June 2010 to August 2014. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences from Cornell University, complemented by studies at Saint Michael's College and Shepaug Valley High School.
