Antonio Kang (GAICD)

Antonio Kang (GAICD) has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Antonio began their career at MERZ Australia PTY LTD as an Engineer from 1990 to 1991. Antonio then joined IBM Global Business Services as a System Engineer from 1991 to 1992. After that, they worked at Vodafone Australia, where they served as a Senior Engineer from 1994 to 1997 and later became the Corporate Regulatory Compliance & Network Quality Assurance Manager from 1997 to 1999.

Kang then joined Optus, where they held various roles. Antonio served as the IT Business Manager for Customer Care & Mobile Products from 1999 to 2003, the IT Program Director for 3G Products & Mobile Contents Transformation Program from 2003 to 2005, and the IT Business Executive for Portfolio Growth with a focus on CRM Integration from 2006 to 2008. Antonio also served as the Group Manager for Product Development and Strategy, overseeing multibillion-dollar revenue across three business groups, from 2008 to 2011. Later, they became the Director of Strategic Delivery, leading strategic initiatives and programs for the ICT Enterprise Business Unit from 2011 to 2012.

In 2013, Kang joined humm group as the Group Head of Strategic Delivery | Head of Merger and Integration Services. In this role, they provided advisory and leadership to strategy execution and transformation programs, particularly M&A and project delivery, until 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, Kang co-founded and served as the Co-Founder & CEO of Syntax and Scope, and as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at FirstWave Cloud Technology. In these positions, they focused on driving digital innovation, growth strategies, and the execution of high-impact transformation programs.

Currently, Antonio Kang (GAICD) is the Head of Digital & Technology PMO & Program Management at Levande, a role they started in August 2022.
