Michael Russell

Michael Russell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael is currently working as the Vice President of Finance at Level Education Group, LLC, a position they started in March 2023. Previously, from April 2013 to June 2023, they served as the Corporate Controller at Reagan Outdoor Advertising.

Michael's career includes their role as a Controller at Move Networks from June 2008 to April 2013. In this position, they were responsible for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and managing relationships with banking and insurance institutions. Michael successfully integrated the UK-based accounting team after a company acquisition and facilitated the integration of accounting and HR policies between Move Networks and Echostar. Michael played a crucial role in closing down both the US and UK-based companies in an orderly manner. Additionally, they built and maintained a detailed and dynamic business model used for budgeting and monthly variance analysis.

Prior to Move Networks, Michael worked as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from June 2005 to July 2008, where they gained valuable experience in the field. Michael began their professional journey as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University from September 2003 to April 2005.

Michael Russell attended Brigham Young University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Accounting. Michael then earned a Certified Public Accountant certification from the Oregon Board of Accountancy in April 2007.
