Micko Espanillo

Micko Espanillo is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat hunting, incident response, and security training. Currently serving as a Threat Hunter and Threat Architect at LevelBlue since February 2024, Micko leverages intelligence-led, data-driven approaches to identify early indicators of compromise. Prior roles include co-founding GuideM and serving as a Course Instructor, as well as holding positions at Trustwave, Dexcom, GHD, Bolton International, Ingram Micro, Technopaq Inc., Simplevia Technologies Inc., and Fly Ace Corporation. Micko's diverse background encompasses monitoring and analyzing network traffic, developing security training programs, and providing strategic IT infrastructure guidance. Educated at ICCT Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management, Micko is recognized for applying MITRE ATT&CK frameworks to enhance cybersecurity measures.
