Tristan Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tristan is currently working at LevelTen Energy as the Director and Head of Developer Engagement for North America. Prior to this, they held positions at LevelTen Energy as Senior Manager and Manager of Developer Services. Before joining LevelTen Energy, Tristan worked at Charlie's Produce as a Manager of Strategic Initiatives, focusing on energy, sustainability, and analytics. Tristan also gained valuable experience at Goldwind, where they served as a Strategy and Research Manager, leading strategic analysis, competitor intelligence research, and advising the Chairman. Additionally, Tristan worked as a Freelance Research Consultant at Global Intelligence Alliance and as an Energy and Environmental Trainee at the European External Action Service. Tristan Evans has a diverse education history. In 2003, they began their academic journey at the University of Victoria, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Tristan completed their undergraduate studies in 2008.

Following their bachelor's degree, Tristan enrolled at the University of Victoria again, this time for their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Tristan spent two years at the university, from 2008 to 2010, and successfully obtained their master's degree.

In 2012, Tristan embarked on an international academic venture and attended the University of Oxford in pursuit of a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Modern Chinese Studies. Tristan completed their studies at Oxford in 2013, showcasing their interest in Chinese language and culture.

Continuing their focus on Chinese studies, Tristan spent two years, from 2016 to 2018, at Tsinghua University. Here, they participated in Stanford University's IUP Chinese Centre and engaged in Advanced Mandarin Studies, further deepening their understanding of the language and its intricacies.

Aside from their formal education, Tristan has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In May 2019, they obtained the HSK Level 6 certification from the Hanban Confucius Institute, demonstrating their high proficiency in Mandarin. Additionally, in January 2020, Tristan received Level I certification from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE), showcasing their knowledge in avalanche safety. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Renewable Energy Project Finance Modeling from Pivotal180 in October 2020, and as a Tableau Analyst from Tableau Software in August 2020.
