Nisha Mendelsohn

Nisha Mendelsohn is an advisor at Lever VC. Nisha was previously the COO & Private Investments Lead at Sapling Capital from January 2019 to January 2021. Nisha was responsible for private investment business development/deal sourcing, investment evaluation/due diligence, and ongoing management of completed investments. Nisha also built and maintained best-in-class, efficient operational systems and processes across all business areas, including information technology, human resources and vendor management.

Nisha was the VP of Strategy at Barrel Creek Provisions from January 2017 to January 2018. Under Leaven Brands, they led the relaunch of Barrel Creek Provisions, a fermented foods company, in order to grow the business from a small regional player into a national brand. Nisha built the company's infrastructure, managed the re-brand and expanded the product line in order to position the company for growth.

Nisha Mendelsohn's educational career includes an MBA in marketing and operations from The Wharton School as well as an A.B. in economics and mathematics from Dartmouth College.
