Vanessa Bangser

Vanessa Bangser currently serves as the Managing Director at LeveragED Foundation, where the focus is on collaborating with educational leaders to enhance strategic visions, build leadership capacity, and implement innovative educational solutions. Previously, Vanessa held the position of Managing Director of Elementary Schools at KIPP NYC, successfully managing five schools and aiding in the founding of a sixth, resulting in significant improvements in state test performance. With extensive experience at Success Academy Charter Schools, including roles as Director of Special Projects and Principal of Success Academy Bronx 2, Vanessa led initiatives that achieved top statewide scores. Earning a rich background in education, Vanessa's early career included various roles within the NYC Department of Education and Teach for America, complemented by educational qualifications from Bank Street College of Education, Pace University, and Purchase College, SUNY.
