Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence
Carla Zoe Cremer is a DPhil student at the University of Oxford's Human Information Processing Lab under the supervision of Professor C. Summerfield, and a research scholar at the Future of Humanity Institute. Carla is also an affiliated researcher at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk at the University of Cambridge and a researcher at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence. Additionally, Carla serves as a research assistant at the Institute of Neuroinformatics in Zurich. Previous positions include founding the Zurich AI Alignment Reading Club, a research scholar at the Future of Humanity Institute, and undertaking roles such as summer analyst and spring intern at Goldman Sachs. Carla’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from ETH Zürich and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol and a combined degree spanning multiple disciplines from Semester at Sea.
