Xiang Li is a PhD candidate in Intelligent Interactive Systems, Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Cambridge, studying under Professor Per Ola Kristensson. Since October 2022, Xiang has held the position of Student Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence and has served as a Student Teaching Supervisor at both Trinity College Cambridge and the University of Cambridge Department of Computer Science and Technology. Prior experience includes working as a Visiting Scholar at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and holding research intern roles at prestigious institutions such as The University of Tokyo, Télécom Paris, Carnegie Mellon University, and Monash University. Xiang's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Information and Computing Science from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool.

Our mission at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI) is to work across research disciplines and sectors to ensure AI is a force for good. Based at the University of Cambridge, we also have spokes at Imperial College London, and at the University of California, Berkeley. CFI advances research on the nature, ethics and impact of AI and explores the opportunities and challenges of this potentially epoch-making technology, in the short-term as well as the long-term.
