Michael Hayes has extensive work experience in the furniture and transportation industries. Michael started their career at GE Transportation in 2012, where they worked as a Plant Protection until 2017. In 2017, Hayes joined John V Schultz Furniture as a Delivery Manager before being promoted to Operations Manager in 2018 and eventually to Senior Director of Operations. In 2020, they transitioned to Levin Furniture & Mattress, where they currently hold the position of Senior Director of Operations.
Michael Hayes is currently a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Candidate in Global Supply Chain Management at Walden University. Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Legal Studies and Homeland Security from PennWest California in 2015. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from PennWest Edinboro, graduating in 2011. Their educational journey began at Cathedral Preparatory School, where they completed their high school education from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications in areas such as Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM), Agile Leader, and Data Analytics.
