Gang Sun

Gang Sun is the SVP, Software & Bioinformatics at LevitasBio. Gang has over 20 years of experience in the software and biotech industries.

Gang Sun started their career as a Software Development Manager at Imaging Research Inc in 1989. Gang then became the CTO of Concise Imaging Inc in 1999. In 2001, they moved to Amersham Biosciences as a Section Manager. Gang then joined Fluidigm Corporation in 2003 as Sr. Director of Engineering. Gang was promoted to Sr. Director of Software and Bioinformatics in 2012 and held that position until they joined LevitasBio in 2021.

Gang Sun received their Ph.D. in Biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from South China University of Technology.

They work with Geoff Facer - VP, Engineering, Kevin Travers - VP, R&D, and Steven Collier - General Counsel. Gang Sun reports to Martin Pieprzyk, CEO.
