Kari McCarron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations and public policy. Currently serving as Senior Principal at Lewis-Burke Associates LLC since May 2015, McCarron co-leads the University Division. Prior roles include Director of Congressional and Governmental Affairs at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities from April 2009 to May 2015, Senior Legislative Assistant at MIT from July 2006 to April 2009, and Science Assistant at the National Science Foundation from 2005 to July 2006. Additionally, McCarron served as Program Coordinator at the American Association for the Advancement of Science and worked as an Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
