Ryan Simmons

Ryan Simmons is a College Success Advisor at Iowa Western Community College since December 2020, providing holistic support to students. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher for Council Bluffs Community School District and Lewis Central Community School since 2017, Ryan has also worked as a Youth Worker at Children's Square USA, focusing on at-risk youth. Additional experience includes a Corps Member role with AmeriCorp NCCC FEMA Corps and a Financial Services Representative position at TD Ameritrade. Ryan’s educational background comprises a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin and an Associate of Arts in Human Services from Iowa Western Community College, along with ongoing studies for an AAS in Accounting Specialist at Des Moines Area Community College.
