Andre J. Stewart

Andre J. Stewart also serves on the Bates Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership Advisory Board, which he joined in April 2017. He also is a member of the Lewis & Clark Parents Council; Andre and his spouse, Renee Stewart, are the parents of Ryan Stewart BA’19 and Cameron Stewart BA’23.

Andre is currently Vice President of Underwriting at ENGS Insurance, a Mitsubishi subsidiary. ENGS is a full-service Managing General Agency and Commercial Brokerage Firm offing a suite of insurance and risk management consulting services focused on the commercial: transportation, construction, and industrial entities.

Andre has over 25+ years of experience in the areas of Medical Professional and Commercial, where he had successes as an “entrepreneur” with several carriers: Zurich, CNA, The Doctors Company and NORCAL. He developed several successful products and relationships and drove profitable growth by expanding past and current companies into more states.
