Mr. Waldron has practiced environmental and energy law with Schwabe, Williamson, and Wyatt since 1975. He has tried complex cases in state and federal courts and argued before the United States Supreme Court. He has written numerous articles in his field and has been named one of Oregon’s top attorneys in Oregon Super Lawyers.
He has served on or chaired numerous boards, including the Port of Portland Commission, The Oregon Health and Sciences University Board, the Clean Water Institute, North Clackamas School Board, the Oregon Law Foundation, the Clackamas County Planning Commission, the Oregon State Board of Bar Examiners, the Campaign for Equal Justice and the Portland Metropolitan Studies Institute. He helped found the East County Legal Clinic.
Mr. Waldron received his BA in English and Philosophy from Providence College. He also has a Master’s Degree in English and a JD in law from the University of Virginia. He taught 7th-grade English in rural Virginia and clerked for Judge Otto Skopil, Jr. of the U.S. District Court of Oregon.
