Christopher Merkel

Christopher Merkel has extensive experience in the actuarial field, having held various roles at multiple companies. Christopher started their career at Lewis and Ellis, Actuaries and Consultants in 1998 as a Sr. Actuarial Analyst and worked there until 2004. After that, they joined Coventry Health Care as the Director of Actuarial Services and worked there from 2004 to 2010. Christopher then moved on to Actuarial Resources Corporation, where they worked as a Consulting Actuary from 2010 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President & Principal at Lewis and Ellis, Actuaries and Consultants, which they have been in since 2013.

Christopher Merkel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they studied from 1993 to 1998.
