Kayla Caves

Kayla Caves is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in counseling and social work. Since August 2019, Caves has served as a School Counselor at Lewis-Palmer School District 38, while also working as a Bartender at Kings Deer Golf Club. Caves has been involved with HARMONY HOUSE-CASA PROGRAM OF LAPORTE COUNTY INC since May 2016, holding various roles such as Court Appointed Special Advocate, Visitation Supervisor, and Social Work Intern, which included facilitating supervised family visits and preparing case notes. Prior experience includes serving as a Case Manager at the Laporte County Prosecuting Attorneys Office Child Support Division and as a Social Work Intern at Michigan City Area Schools. Caves began a career in child care at Flying Horse and gained customer service experience as a Model Home Hostess at Goetzmann Homes. Caves holds a Master's degree in Counselor Education from Adams State University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Valparaiso University.
