Laura Wilmarth Tyna has extensive experience in community engagement and leadership development. Laura has held various roles throughout their career, including Director of Community Engaged Learning at Lewis University, where they oversaw the academic community-based learning program and built collaborative relationships with community partners. Laura Wilmarth Tyna has a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Student Affairs Administration and Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (2022 - present). Laura also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland (2002 - 2004) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (1998 - 2002). Prior to their college education, they attended Rochelle Township High School from 1994 to 1998.
