Ashley Barnett

Ashley Barnett has over 28 years of work experience in various roles within the automotive and financial services industries. Ashley started their career at The Co-operative Group as a Supervisor, where they were responsible for producing reports and statistics on department and store performance. Ashley then moved to Lloyds TSB Autolease, where they held several positions including Client Accountant, Customer Accounts Supervisor, and Tax Consultant. In these roles, they managed financial data, monitored processes, and ensured adherence to audit guidelines. Ashley later joined Lex Autolease, where they served as a Consultant, Principal Consultant, and currently as the Head of Fleet Consultancy. In their current role, they lead a team focused on helping business customers achieve their fleet strategy goals and has been recognized for their work in the industry. Throughout their career, Ashley has developed expertise in vehicle funding, company car policy, and employee car ownership schemes, and has dealt with a range of stakeholders from charities to large corporations.

Ashley Barnett's education history begins with their completion of GCSE's from Courtfields School in Somerset, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Business and Finance as well as English Literature from Somerset College, from 1991 to 1993. After several years, they furthered their education by obtaining an ACMA degree in Accountancy from the Financial Training Company, where they studied from 2008 to 2009.
