Helena Samaha has extensive experience in the legal and leadership fields. Helena currently serves as a Board Member for the Women's Leadership Board at Harvard University's Kennedy School. Prior to this, they were the President and CEO of Lex Mundi, a global network of independent law firms. Helena also held the position of President and Board Member at the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation. Helena has also worked as the Head of Legal - Media and Programming (Interim) at Liberty Global PLC, where they managed a multinational team responsible for content acquisition and programming. Before that, they were the General Counsel & Company Secretary at OSN, a premium Pay-TV company. Helena also served as the General Counsel-EMEA at AlixPartners, where they established and led the legal and compliance team for the EMEA region. Helena began their career as a Partner at DLA Piper, specializing in Technology Media & Commercial law. Helena also served as the Group Legal Director at Virgin Group, where they oversaw corporate transactions and managed the in-house legal department. Helena started their career as a Solicitor at Clifford Chance. Throughout their career, Helena has demonstrated their expertise in legal, regulatory, and compliance matters, as well as their leadership skills in managing teams and driving organizational success.

Helena Samaha began their education in 1990 at Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, where they pursued a Maitrise degree in International Business Law and EU competition. Helena completed their studies at this institution in 1991 before moving on to King's College London. At King's College London, Helena pursued a Masters of Law LLM degree with a focus on Corporate and Commercial Law. Helena completed their studies in this field in 1992.
