Rocio Harrelson

Rocio Harrelson, PhD, is currently serving as the Associate Director of Human Resources at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously, Rocio worked as a Human Resources Consultant for their own company before rejoining Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where Rocio held various positions including HR Business Partner and Director of EHS and Security. Rocio has extensive experience in managing security, safety, occupational health, environmental, hazardous waste, workers compensation, regulatory training, and compliance functions. With a background in Biology and Environmental Toxicology, Rocio also worked in EHS management roles at University of Houston and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Rocio holds a PhD in Business: Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University.
