Joseph Holstedt has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Infantry Squad Leader in the US Army Garrison, Fort Carson from November 2009 to November 2011. Following that, they worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at The University of South Dakota from July 2018 to May 2020. Joseph then became an Athletic Trainer at Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Baseball from May 2020 to September 2020. From September 2020 to May 2021, Joseph worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, specifically with the softball and football programs. In 2021, they joined Gastonia Honey Hunters as the Head Athletic Trainer from May to October, and also served as an Athletic Trainer at Lexington Clinic and Head Athletic Trainer at Lexington Counter Clocks starting in November.
Joseph Holstedt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. During their time at the university, they also pursued a second Bachelors degree in Athletic Training. Following their undergraduate studies, Joseph attended the University of South Dakota from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Sport Management.
