Kala Adams possesses extensive experience in public health and social work, currently serving as the Manager of Infectious Disease Environmental Health and Preparedness and Team Leader for the HANDS Program at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department since March 2017. Previously, Kala held the role of Social Worker-Children Services Supervisor at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services from August 2010 to March 2017 and worked as a Therapist at Samaritan Behavioral Health from April 2008 to August 2010. In addition to expertise in health services, Kala owns Adams Painting LLC, operational since 2010. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's in Social Work, both obtained from the University of Kentucky.
