Darryl Neher

Darryl Neher has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Darryl currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Lexington Habitat for Humanity. Prior to this role, they held the same position at Fauquier Habitat for Humanity, where they successfully implemented organizational changes and increased the organization's capacity to fulfill its mission. Neher also served as the CEO and President of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County, where they significantly expanded the organization's land inventory for affordable housing development.

In addition to their experience in the nonprofit sector, Neher has also worked as a host at WTIU-TV (PBS) and as a Senior Faculty Lecturer at Indiana University, where they received several teaching awards. Darryl has also served as a City Council Representative in the City of Bloomington and hosted a radio program at WGCL Radio.

Earlier in their career, Neher worked at the Leadership Development Institute at the Kelley School of Business, where they co-created an executive leadership assessment program and provided consultation to organizations on leadership development. Darryl began their career as an Account Executive at K&K Insurance Group, Inc.

Darryl Neher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from DePauw University (1984-1988). Darryl also pursued a Masters of Science degree in Sports Management at Indiana University Bloomington (1988-1989), and later completed their Masters of Arts & ABD in Communication at Indiana University Bloomington (1992-2000).
