Elaine Luhr has a diverse and extensive work history. Elaine began their career at First Presbyterian Church of Winston Salem as an Assistant for Children's Ministry, where they recruited and supervised volunteer teachers and organized training conferences. Elaine then moved on to Corporate Apparel, Inc., where they served as the Director of Operations and successfully facilitated significant revenue growth. After that, they joined AccuSport International, Inc. as the Director of Strategic Services, overseeing financial management, human resources, and policy improvements. Currently, Elaine holds various positions at Lexington Habitat for Humanity, including Director of Finance & Administration, Acting Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Elaine has displayed exceptional leadership and strategic decision-making skills throughout their career.

Elaine Luhr has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Wake Forest University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Elaine also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University School of Business, which they earned between 2000 and 2002.
