Cory Andrews has a diverse work experience in healthcare. Cory started their career in 2009 at Carolinas Hospital System as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse, where they worked until 2013. In 2013, they joined Husqvarna Group as a Health Superintendent and held this role until 2016. Since 2016, Cory has been working as the Director of Risk Management at Lexington Medical Center.

Cory Andrews has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Francis Marion University, completed in 2013. They also have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Clemson University, completed in 2009. In addition, Cory has obtained several certificates including Legal Nurse Consulting from Duke University (2014), Health and Safety Management from The University of Alabama (2014), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Purdue University (2017), and Captive Insurance from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE), expected to be completed in 2023.
