Rob Brown, MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Rob currently serves as a Head and Neck, Facial Plastic Surgeon at Lexington Medical Center starting from October 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve from 2020. From September 2020 to October 2023, they held the role of Head & Neck Surgeon, Facial Reconstructive Surgeon at Greenville ENT Associates. From 2000 to 2020, they worked at Greenville Health System where they served as a Head & Neck and Facial Plastic Surgeon and also held the position of Director of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery from 2007 to 2017. Lastly, they served in the US Air Force Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel from 2012 to 2014 and as a Major from 2011 to 2012.

Rob Brown, MD received their Bachelor of Arts in History and Biology from Clemson University in 1991. Rob then went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1995. Following their MD, Dr. Brown completed an internship in General and Specialty Surgery at the same institution in 1996. Rob then pursued a Residency in Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina from 1996 to 2000.

After obtaining their Certification of Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery in 2001, Dr. Brown furthered their education at the Oregon Health & Science University, where they served as a Visiting Fellow in Microvascular and Reconstructive Surgery from 2008 to 2010.
