Heather Dieffenbach

Heather Dieffenbach has extensive experience in library management and operations, currently serving as Executive Director at Lexington Public Library since January 2017 after holding various leadership roles including Acting Executive Director, Director of Library Operations, and Northside Branch Manager. Prior to this, Heather worked at the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives from February 2010 to January 2017 as Library Administrator Regional and Children's and Youth Services Consultant. Heather's career began at Lexington Public Library from 1998 to 2010 as a Children's Librarian. Heather holds a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington, earned between 1995 and 1996.
