Kevin Imai

Kevin Imai, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Kevin currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Lexington Public Library. Prior to this role, they worked at Topy America, Inc. as the Manager of Organizational Development from April 2017 to October 2021. Kevin's earlier experience includes various leadership positions at Hawaiian Electric Company, where they served as the Director of Talent Management and Organizational Development, Director of Staffing and Workforce Planning, Director of HR Shared Service Center, and Director of Organizational Development. In these roles, they provided strategic direction and management in areas such as talent planning, acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, and change management.

Kevin Imai, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In June 2021, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM. Additionally, in May 2021, they earned a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
