Shannon Pieper

Shannon Pieper has over 20 years of work experience in the fields of marketing, communications, and editorial operations. Shannon started their career in 1998 as a Writer/Editor at the American College of Healthcare Executives. From there, they moved on to Elsevier Public Safety in 2005, where they served as the Editorial Director, overseeing editorial operations for trade magazines and websites serving emergency responders and law enforcement officers. In 2012, they joined PennWell Public Safety as the Editorial Director, responsible for managing editorial operations for multiple public safety publications. In 2014, they transitioned to Lexipol as the Director of Quality Assurance (Editorial), and later as the Director of Marketing Communications. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director, Marketing Content at Lexipol, where they develop lead-generating thought leadership assets and manages the marketing communications team.

Shannon Pieper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Indiana University Bloomington, which they earned between 1993 and 1997. Shannon also holds a Master of Science degree in Written Communication from National Louis University, which they obtained between 2001 and 2004.
