Sophie Majeau has extensive work experience at LexisNexis Canada Inc. Starting in 1998, they worked as an Account Executive for Quebec and Northern New Brunswick until 2011. Sophie then transitioned to the role of an Online Solutions Specialist-Research, which they held until 2018. In 2018, Sophie became the Director of Research Solutions and French Language Strategy, a position they held until June 2021. From July 2021 onwards, they have been serving as the Senior Director, Go-to-Market, Strategy & Partnerships at LexisNexis Canada Inc.
Sophie Majeau obtained a Law Degree (LL.B) from the Université de Montréal between 1991 and 1994. Sophie then pursued further studies at the Ecole du Barreau du Québec, where they obtained a license to practice law from 1994 to 1996. Following this, they completed a Certificate in Journalism from the Université de Montréal between 1997 and 1999. Finally, they obtained a Master in Law (LL.M) in Prevention and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the Université de Sherbrooke from 2009 to 2013.
