Moataz El Ayadi

Moataz El Ayadi is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles across various companies. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist I at LexisNexis since January 2022, prior positions include Associate Director at RBC, where Moataz led the Operational Risk Data Science team and oversaw multiple ML-based projects. Additional experience includes leading the 'AI for Speech Insights' group at Scotiabank, with significant contributions in voice-to-text technology, and earlier roles focused on algorithms for speaker recognition at VoiceTrust and Orange Labs. Moataz's academic background includes an MSC in Engineering Mathematics and Physics from Cairo University and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, along with experience as an assistant professor and postdoctoral fellow in research and teaching roles.
