Steve Carroll serves as the VP of Customer Insights at LexisNexis since October 2009, overseeing the monitoring of customer experience globally and expanding focus to employee experience. Prior to this role, Steve was the Research Director at Elsevier from 2002 to November 2009, leading the Global Customer Research team in the Scientific, Technical, and Medical sectors. Steve's earlier experience includes positions as Associate Director at Gfk NOP from 2000 to 2002, where work involved brand tracking and competitor profiling for technology clients, and as Senior Market Research Analyst at Elsevier from 1995 to 2000. Steve also worked as a Marketing and Research Executive at Arriva from 1994 to 1995. Educationally, Steve holds a BA in History from the University of Exeter and an MSc in Research into Business Management from Aston University.
