Jennifer J. Hamilton, LCSW, CADC has extensive work experience in the mental health field. Jennifer J. started working at Leyden Family Service & Mental Health Center in 1999, initially as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program Therapist until 2001. Jennifer J. then transitioned to become a Transitional Living Program Therapist, a role they held until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Jennifer worked as the Clinical Supervisor of Adult Residential Services at the same organization. Jennifer J. then served as the Manager of Aftercare Services from 2016 to 2017, and later as the Manager of Aftercare and Outpatient Substance Disorder Services from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, Jennifer briefly held the position of Interim Director of Mental Health before being promoted to Director of Mental Health, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Leyden Family Service & Mental Health Center. In addition to their work in mental health, Jennifer has also been a member of the Board of Directors for Chicago Riots Junior Roller Derby since 2020 and has volunteered as a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana from 2011 to 2019.

Jennifer J. Hamilton, LCSW, CADC, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from DePaul University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the Jane Addams School of Social Work, earning a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree specializing in Mental Health between the years 1997 and 1999.

Leyden Family Services provides a variety of counseling, treatment, and preventative services for children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens, and families. Furthermore, our services extend to people with many different types of needs. We support people who are suffering from temporary disruptions in their lives due to life changes, stresses, and traumas. We treat individuals with alcohol, substance abuse, and/or gambling problems. Our staff serves clients with serious and persistent mental illness as well as those having difficulties associated with aging. Leyden Family Services also provides community education targeted toward life enhancement.
