Ad de Bekker has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Ad most recently worked at LeydenJar as the Chief Operational Officer. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operations Officer a.i. at Trymax Semiconductor. Ad also has experience as a Plant Manager at NSSPC, a Manufacturing Director at Philips Lighting Saudi Arabia, a General Manager at Primus Solar Technologies, and a COO/Plant Director at Falcon Technologies International. Earlier in their career, Ad worked as a Manufacturing Manager and Manufacturing Improvement Manager at LG-Philips Displays, and as a Key Account Manager at Philips. Ad began their career as a Production Line Manager at PDO Wiesbaden and as a Process Manager at Philips Recordable Media Division.

Ad de Bekker attended HTS Heerlen, The Netherlands from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science with a major in Physics.
