Arya Nagraj currently serves as a Legal Assistant at Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd. since June 2024. Previous experience includes significant roles at the University of Chicago, where Arya was part of the Title IX Office Student Advisory Board and the Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Committee, focusing on policy development and advocacy for survivor resources. Arya also interned at Lawyers For Children, conducting client interviews regarding custody and researching issues related to child sexual abuse. Additional internships include a role as a John List Voltage Economic Research Assistant at the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics, where Arya assisted in a racial discrimination study, and a position with the City of Chicago, contributing to gender-based violence policy research for the Mayor’s Office. Arya began the professional journey as an Archivist Intern in Burlington and an Education Intern at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. Arya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Chicago.
