Ali Pesaranghader

Ali Pesaranghader is an experienced Sr. AI Research Scientist currently leading the Responsible AI team at LG Electronics since July 2021, with a focus on safe autonomous and embodied agents utilizing LLM technologies. Prior experience includes a position as Sr. Research Scientist at CIBC from May 2019 to July 2021. Ali's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa (2014-2018) and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2011-2013). During the doctorate studies, a research assistant role was held at the University of Ottawa, supported by a soft-funded research bursary.
