Kaveh Kamali

Kaveh Kamali is a Staff Machine Learning Researcher at LG Electronics since June 2024, where responsibilities include leading a team focused on the design and training of Vision-Language-Action models for robotic systems. Prior to this role, Kaveh served as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Unity from June 2020 to June 2024, developing advanced machine learning techniques to enhance 3D character realism, and also contributed to the Unity navigation engine. Kaveh's experience includes a position as a Senior AI Scientist at Nuvoola, focusing on object detection and face recognition algorithms, and as a Senior Robotic Scientist at Besnovo Inc., where path planning and motion control algorithms were developed for industrial robots. Academic credentials include a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from École de technologie supérieure, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
