Matthew Durgin is an experienced executive in the technology and media sectors, currently serving as Vice President of North America Content and Services at LG Electronics since November 2008. In this role, Durgin oversees the Business Development and Partner Engagement team focused on Smart TV Partnerships, encompassing content, innovation, and growth initiatives. Prior to LG, Durgin held the position of Sr. Category Manager for Digital Portable Devices at Samsung Electronics and worked in marketing and business development at Sony. Durgin began a career in merchandising as the Merchandising Director at Bertelsmann AG's BeMusic and CDNOW, managing profit and loss, retail volume, and promotional activities. Durgin earned an MBA in Marketing from the Fox School of Business at Temple University between 1996 and 1999.
