Ron Cook is the current advisor at LGC and the former CEO of Biosearch Technologies. Ron has been in the industry for over 40 years and has held various positions during that time. Ron started their career as the founder and CEO of Biosearch, Inc. in 1977 and then went on to work as a principal consultant at Beckman Coulter from 1991 to 1993. In 1993, they founded Biosearch Technologies, which they led until 2015. Ron has been credited with helping to grow the company into a leading provider of oligonucleotides and related products.
Ron Cook received a BS in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Ron then went on to get a PhD in Chemisry from the University of Washington. After they completed their PhD, they did a post-doc in Biochem-Biophys and Immunology at University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine.
