Brian Phillips

Brian Phillips has a comprehensive work experience in the field of communications and brand management. Brian has served as the Director of Brand, Advertising, Customer and Digital Communications at LG&E & KU since 2013. In this role, Brian manages the company's brand, advertising, and digital communications, while leading a team of communicators responsible for various communication channels. Additionally, they serve as an official company spokesperson during crises. Prior to this, Brian worked as the Manager of External Communications at LG&E and KU Energy LLC from 2002 to 2012. In this role, they acted as a primary spokesperson and managed media relations during crisis situations.

Brian Phillips obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a focus on Communication and Media Studies from the University of Louisville, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, in November 2020, they obtained a certification as a Registered Business Coach from the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches™ (WABC™).
