Thiago Eckenroth Guimarães

Thiago Eckenroth Guimarães has a diverse work experience. Thiago is currently the Founder, Owner, and CEO of LGG Advisors, where they provide outsourced financial and strategic advisory services. Their responsibilities include advising on finance and strategy projects such as M&A transactions, due diligence, capital raisings, turnarounds, and corporate strategy. Thiago has a team of specialists with strong backgrounds in private equity funds, investment banks, strategy consulting firms, and blue-chip companies.

Before starting LGG Advisors, Thiago was a Shareholder and Member of the Advisory Board at Wine With Spirit, a Portuguese wine producer focused on enotainment. Thiago played a role in producing and selling bottled emotions through their innovative distribution channel, Lyfetaste.com.

Prior to that, Thiago worked at Barclays Investment Bank as an Assistant Vice President in the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) Team from 2015 to 2016. Thiago had previously interned at Barclays as an Associate in the TMT Team in 2014.

Thiago is also a co-founder of LGG Trading Company, where they worked from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they gained experience in corporate finance as a Consultant at Deloitte from 2006 to 2009.

Thiago Eckenroth Guimarães has a diverse educational background. Thiago completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program at both INSEAD and The Wharton School in 2014. Currently, they are pursuing studies at Harvard Business School in the Leading Professional Services Firms field of study, starting in 2023. Prior to their M.B.A. programs, Thiago obtained a Licenciatura degree in Economics from FEP U. Porto in 2006. Additionally, they hold certification in Securities, Derivatives, and UK Regulations from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, obtained in 2015.
